There is a lack of communication and visibility of cultural and educational events in the capital city and across the island. The aim of the application is to facilitate citizen access to and exchange of, information related to vibrant initiatives enhancing urban and sustainable lifestyles. 

The benefits of CHAKÉ Mobile Application are improved knowledge sharing and increased awareness of events and cultural initiatives across the island. This project is born as part of a wider need to connect citizens to each other using digital social media platforms and smartphone facilities.
